About

I am currently a Public Relations major with a minor in Event Management at Champlain College in Burlington, VT. Previously, I spent three semesters in Philly studying Musical Theatre at the University of the Arts. My past art studies have provided a unique point of value since many skills carry over to the communication and events industries, such as public speaking, reciprocating the energy of rooms, and cultivating a creative and resourceful intuition. Over time I have seen the connection between industries grow; with my transition from theatre to communication and event management allowing me to continually fuel my dedication to one-of-a-kind storytelling and creating impactful experiences. Additionally, I have always had a knack for organization and planning, which lends itself well to the logistical side, while my performing arts background and DIY expertise aids in the creativity needed for communications and event management.

I have always been a perfectionist, but could never color inside the lines.

My values drive my activism towards ending homelessness, uplifting LQBTQ+, and providing mental health care for all. I hope to use my dedication to storytelling paired with my management and communication experience and education to support a non-profit in its operations, communication,
and fundraising efforts. 
 

My time with the David Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry has greatly benefited my thinking process in all aspects of life; looking at what is working, what the ideal future looks like, and the steps that need to be taken to get there, which is at the core of Appreciative Inquiry, instead of what is wrong and what needs to be fixed. I am bringing this mindset into my journey as a budding young professional.
